Apophanous: É a tentativa do ser humano de achar um significado para aquilo que desconhece.
Apophanous é uma banda de Progressive Thrash Metal de São Paulo/SP. Formada no início de 2015 por Fabio Trevisan (Divine Holocaust, ACE23), Tiago Lima (Cimeries, Everhate) e Vitor Alcantara (Encanto Blasfemo, Divine Holocaust) com a proposta de executar um som pesado e autoral com influências de Nevermore, Machine Head, Pantera, entre outros.
Os primeiros meses da banda foram dedicados à composição de suas primeiras músicas e
à busca por um baixista, que terminou com a entrada do Álvaro Albuq (Stultifera) que
rapidamente adaptou-se ao ritmo dos demais integrantes.
Ao fim de 2015 a banda entrou em estúdio para gravação de seu primeiro EP intitulado
“Obliteration has Come”, gravado, mixado e masterizado no I.M.F – Instituto Musical
Falaschi – de Santo André/SP por Tito Falaschi, trabalho lançado em formato digital em abril
de 2016 pelo Bandcamp, Spotify, Itunes, Deezer e demais mídias digitais.
Seu show de estreia foi em julho de 2016 no evento 2º Berti Rock Festival ao lado de
bandas de renome no cenário do metal paulista, foram elas Claustrofobia, Synaia, Surra,
Repulsão Explícita e Scumunion, onde o Apophanous apresentou seu EP “Obliteration Has
Come” ao público do litoral na cidade de Bertioga.

Apophanous: It is the human being's attempt to find meaning for what he does not know.
Apophanous is a Progressive Thrash Metal band from São Paulo, Brazil. Formed in the
beginning of 2015 by Fabio Trevisan (Divine Holocaust, ACE23), Tiago Lima (Cimeries,
Everhate) and Vitor Alcantara (Encanto Blasfemo, Divine Holocaust) with the proposal to
perform a heavy and authorial sound with influences of Nevermore, Machine Head, Pantera,
among others.
The first months of the band were dedicated to the composition of their first songs and to
the search for a bass player, which ended with the entry of Álvaro Albuq (Stultifera) who
quickly adapted to the rhythm of the other members.
At the end of 2015 the band entered the studio to record their first EP entitled "Obliteration
Has Come", recorded, mixed and mastered at the IMF - Musical Institute Falaschi - of Santo
André, São Paulo by Tito Falaschi, work released in digital format in April Of 2016 by
Bandcamp, Spotify, Itunes, Deezer and other digital media.
His debut show was in July 2016 at the 2nd Berti Rock Festival event alongside renowned
bands in the São Paulo metal scene, were Claustrofobia, Synaia, Surra, Explicit Repulsion
and Scumunion, where Apophanous presented his EP "Obliteration Has Come "To the
coastal public in the city of Bertioga.
