NEXUS (Itália) no bloco "BARULHO NOISE - o espaço das bandas underground" no Comando Noise dia 07/01/2018 (Domingo)

Formed in the fall of 2009 by vocalist/guitarist Vlad Voicu and bassist/backup vocalist Tony Di Marzio with the goal of mixing together various musical elements ranging from alternative rock to the more modern electronica. This idea is completed with Lorenzo "Il Diverso" Mastracci joining the band in early 2010 on keyboards and synthesizers. After their first live experiences the band participates in the national "Tour Music Fest" contest in 2011 where they go toe to toe with some of the best italian underground projects.
Two years later (2013) with Ivan Lambardella on drums the band plays the regional finals during the Arezzo Wave fest finishing second. During the same year the debut EP "The Death of Art", recorded at Luciano Chessa's Moon Voice studios is released and followed up by the "Art is Dead UK" tour during the fall of the same year in support of the EP which saw the band play various venues great and small all over the UK.
After Ivan's departure from the band midway through 2014 the band decided to go on as a three piece.
In late 2016, the band recorded their debut full length titled "the Taint", out now (fall 2017) through Agoge records and recruited support musicians Diego Aureli on live guitars and Daniele di Gasbarro on live drums! I Nexus nascono a L’Aquila nell’inverno del 2009 dall’incontro artistico di Vlad Voicu (cantante – chitarrista) e Tony di Marzio (basso – cori) con l’idea di dar vita ad un progetto che fondesse vari elementi musicali dal rock più classico alla musica elettronica più moderna. Il conseguimento effettivo di questo risultato avviene alcuni mesi più tardi con l’arrivo di Lorenzo “Il Diverso” Mastracci alle tastiere e sintetizzatore.
Dopo le prime esperienze live nel 2011 partecipano alla rassegna nazionale “tour Music Fest” dove si confrontano con le migliori realtà emergenti italiane.
Due anni più tardi (2013) con l’arrivo di Ivan Lambardella alla batteria partecipano alla fase macroregionale dell’Arezzo Wave classificandosi secondi.
Il 2013 è anche l’anno del primo EP ufficiale della band “The Death of Art” registrato presso i “Moon Voice Studio” di Luciano Chessa. A questo lavoro segue la prima tourneè“Art is Dead in UK” che li porta ad esibirsi nei maggiori club underground del Regno Unito.
Con l’uscita dal progetto da parte di Ivan la band decide di proseguire come trio rafforzando il nucleo originario.
Alla fine del 2016 la band è entrata in studio per registrare il loro full length d'esordio The Taint, uscito nell'autunno del 2017 per Agoge Records.
